The Silver Skate Festival happens once a year in Hawrelak Park, Edmonton. Hay rides, speedskating races, figure skating clubs and hot drinks for the chilling winter temperatures. The Festival is a charity for the Northern Alberta Children’s Disability Foundation., seen in the painting coming out of wheelchairs to enjoy the sleds.
